About Jae

Hi, I’m Jae

I’m Jae, a queer therapist dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and communities who are navigating the rich complexities of their lives. My approach is grounded in humanistic, person-centered therapy—focusing on your innate worth and capacity for growth—while honoring the uniqueness of your story.

My approach

I have always been inquisitive and curious about our innate ability to strive and overcome life’s obstacles, recognizing from an early age that success, worth, and happiness is more about what you do with the lemons versus how many you got handed to you. Within that, I inherently understand that our society is built upon a flawed system which makes it much harder for some to succeed, despite all of the tenacity we can muster.

We will work together to find your individual story, to find your way, to get unstuck from where you find yourself right now. We will work to identify all of the precious and unique strengths you already possess inside you, to help you find your way back to the place you want to go.

I believe healing begins with relationships to other people, and I look forward to creating a relationship with you that is built upon genuine positive regard, genuine empathy, and a curiosity about you and your life circumstances that led you to where you are today.

Take a moment, reach out, and let’s see if it’s a good fit. If it’s not, I would love to help you find someone who is! I am blessed to know some insanely talented therapists.
